I don't think it's an ending at all, it's a beginning.
Top notch black and white expressionist cinematography. Di Palma is the man to applaud.
This was so close to be Perfect, except for some flaws at the ending, but it's pretty good movie. So fucking beautiful photography.
A beautifuly shot Kafkian(on reverse) tale. Not one of his great movies, but an enjoyable and shot ride! And what an amazing supporting cast, I just wish the movie could go longer so the rest of the cast could have more screen time!
One of his films in which I truly feel Allen in the room talking to himself. It's as if his characters are helping sort out so much of what was going in his head when he was writing this. Some feel like old or alternate personas for sure. The Lang and Bergman influence is just and huge in this one.
