I don't get it. Please explain?
Has a lot of the same elements as his The Man Without a Past, but is much more convincing and fun. A more simple and homble scandinavian Jarmush indeed.
It's a line from the movie. It's his response to her question about whether or not he can support both of them. "Small potatoes" means "no big deal."
Like a Finnish Jim Jarmusch. Shares a lot with Stranger than Paradise, though with color and faster editing despite similar pace and nuance.
Varjoja paratiisissa 1986 DIR Aki Kaurismäki SCR Aki Kaurismäki 74 Min I can not explain why I love Aki Kaurismäki's films, but the nuanced subtlety is beautiful.
