Shine, the movie filmed for 1996.

By Carim James on April 28, 2010

The film is based on the true life event’s of David Helfgott, I found it well worth seeing.

The premises of the film is situated in Australia and in London with reference to the late Russian pianist Sergei Rachmaninoff.
I found it enthralling to learn about the life of some of the most prodigous piano players, really it is worth seeing the film simply for the quality in the talent of musicans in the film, let alone the chance to see a real modern tale of a film.

I hadn’t seen the film in the cinema, but I certainly have the DVD near me, I really believed in appreciating this film (Shine) simply because the story line is a true life example of how to produce a real talent in a coherent way. Really it is definatley a good story line to understand the progress of David’s life in his chances of a career, the piano playing happens to be unique oustanding and without a doubt the understanding created has to be seen in person. The film won oscars for its progress in understanding and creating such a good plan to understand piano for a cinema point of view. All in all, I really liked it.
