This movie is full of ‘good intentions’ and one can only be touched by these kids acting so amazingly well. Acting kids though is not enough to do a good movie. The plot is somehow pretty predictable:a classical story of love and hate, illusions and desillusions, gain and loss…The story of every single being on this planet… At least the movie maker could have brought his personal touch to this simple story but he does not succeed in doing so. The passion is missing and the final image of the horse seems so predictable and cliche. Rocco & his brothers is depicting human torments in a much stronger way to me. Sometimes it is better to overplay it rather than not playing it at all, I suppose. Good intentions are sometimes not enough…
