The last fifteen minutes are so beautifully batshit insane, some of the most lovely and repulsive body horror scenes ever filmed. Gorgeous, gooey flesh. However, the first hour and a bit bogs the whole thing down, just typical 80s horror cheese with dull, made-for-tv aesthetics. All worth it for that ending though. Wow. Genius.
