Somebody Loves Me

Irving Brecher writes and directs this musical about aspiring songbird Blossom ‘Bloss’ Seeley (Betty Hutton), who gets her break in vaudeville. But along with fame and wealth comes a tumultuous relationship with her husband and performing partner, Benny Fields (Ralph Meeker). The film features “Dixie Dreams,” “Jealous,” “Way Down Yonder in New Orleans,” “I Cried For You,” “Rose Room” and “Smiles.”
