They need to change the year. It's a 2002 film.

Slow-burning and chilling. Seriously got under my skin, which I consider to be a very good thing.

Fucking great film, surprisingly slow and calm from Cronenberg.

Cronenberg's most underrated. What a movie.

@Ally this is the beginning of the distilled Cronenberg. Although i love his body-horror movies i think now is when we are going to see Cronenberg at his best.

Even though this isn't Cronenberg's best film, it has haunted me since I first saw it.

It's not my favorite Cronenberg by any means, but I think it's his best-looking film.

This is an incredible little austere film with impressive performances and atmosphere. Cronenberg can do no wrong.

One hell of a performance from Fiennes and beautifully structured story. I think this might have been my first Cronenberg and is definitely one of my favorites of his.

Narrated from the vertiginous perception of a mentally challenged young man, masterfully personified by Ralph Fiennes. A riveting story about obesessions, contempt, oedipus complex and search of identity, narrated with delicate and skillful approach by the ineffable David Cronenberg.
