When her rebellious attitude gets her in trouble with the law, acerbic 17-year-old Haley Graham (Missy Peregrym), a former gymnast, is sentenced to enroll in an elite gymnastics academy, where she butts heads with a competitive rival (Vanessa Lengies) and the gym’s notorious coach (Jeff Bridges). With an important international meet on the horizon, can the girls put their differences aside to win?
the movie starts off incredibly bad but finds its strength and groove within the middle and almost you could say its artistry as well. it has amazing commentary on the world of gymnastics that we can all agree with it and have felt frustrated by especially if you enjoy the sport as much as i do and can't reconcile the scores with the performances or believe that people would subject themselves in such severity.
