this film manages to express so much with its richness in imagery, a bewitching soundtrack and so little talking. It's as if all that stone and the landscape's bleakness are playing a pathetic role too.

A criminally neglected arthouse film from Romania that screams for an international DVD. I actually tried making English subtitles but got stuck in few scenes, unable to understand what was being said.
