In an interview, a woman says she was always"sexually different than the others," and that led her to stripping. Which begs the question, is this job taken out of curiosity or necessity? This is why I consider it somewhat important, as director Jerome Gary is interested in a better understanding of it, and not just the bodies. Overall, it's more of a dance movie, with a lot of attention given to the rehearsals.
