Sword of the Stranger

In a time of dangerous political turmoil, an enigmatic Japanese swordsman swears to protect a mysteriously powerful boy named Kotaro from would-be assassins, and escort the lad and his canine companion to safety in a remote Buddhist monastery. But China’s Ming rulers are determined to ensnare Kotaro for their own nefarious purposes, and they dispatch a team of ruthless agents to slay the swordsman and capture the child.
