Tajomaru

Hiroyuki Nakano directs this drama that offers a new perspective on the tale of Tajomaru, the fictional bandit who attacks a nobleman and his fiancée as they journey through the wilderness in the classic 1950 film Rashomon. In this reimagining told from the outlaw’s perspective, the nobleman defeats and slays the brigand, then adopts the bandit’s identity as his own. Shun Oguri, Kei Tanaka and Yuki Shibamoto star.
