What are you missing? Patience. It's only 29 minutes long man. You can't judge a film (unless it's utterly awful) until you've finished it.
I loved it. I can't wait to see his other stuff or for the overcoat to come out. Instantly my favorite animated film I have seen.
One of the most moving experiences I've had with cinema in a long time. Hands down my favorite animation I've seen to date of any length.

Definitely my favourite animated film of all time, in fact probably my favourite film. Everytime I watch its as if I am watching it for the first time and the meaning is never quite the same. Its something all films should aspire to.
I rarely used the word 'masterpiece' referring to a cartoon or a short film. This is one of those rare cases.
beautiful in every sense of the word, one of the best films I've ever seen (deffinitly the best on youtube). Seamless animation, breath taking imagery and spacing, and one of the best characters in a short film or period "the little wolf."
Animation delights in the little movements, and this one delights in the little moments. Interestingly enough, despite it's title, it's mostly non-narrative, though there's plenty it says. --DiB
