Synopsis

Monika is an “agony aunt” on her radio show, but isn’t actually married herself. Her mother already considers her a biological time bomb and brother René says that she’s the town’s most famous nun!. On her 30th birthday, Monika is finally persuaded by her brother René to insert a lonely hearts ad.

After all, that’s how he came to meet his boyfriend Karl. And a real dream of a man actually does appear: Erik. True to the motto “fit for love”, Monika does something for her figure. This is how she gets to know Sabine and they become friends. Natur-ally, Sabine invites Monika round to her place and introduces her to her dream man: Erik – now a respectable husband and father of two. When Sabine finds out that her husband is having an affair, she moves out with the two children to best friend Monika – little knowing that Monika is the very reason she has had to move. Monika tries to break up with Erik. – And René wants to break up with Karl because he has fallen in love with the man of his dreams – with Erik! In the end, all of those involved in the amorous chaos call up Monika on her show. It becomes the talk of the town. —german-films.de
