Synopsis

While on a brief visit to Nashville, British attorney Wolfgang Leighton (Julian Sands) gets on the wrong side of Southern hospitality when an encounter with local lovely Sally Lomas (Denise Crosby) results in his arrest for murder. Now Leighton must extricate himself from a perplexing American justice system made even more baffling by an unusually hostile judge (Rod Steiger). Nicolas Gessner helms this thriller.
