Tenth Avenue Kid

Detective Jim “Silk” Loomis (Bruce Cabot) takes in 12-year-old Tommy Turner (Tommy Ryan) after his criminal father dies in a shootout following a bank truck heist. Although Loomis is trying to get the boy to finger the rest of the gang members, the two grow close. Meanwhile, suspicious reporter Susan Holland (Beverly Roberts) keeps a watchful eye on the two of them, and the gang members try to get to Tommy to find their missing loot.
