That Beautiful Somewhere

Filmed in the wild and beautiful backcountry of northern Ontario, this noirish thriller follows the adventures of a detective (Roy Dupuis) and an archaeologist (Jane McGregor) who team up to unravel the mystery behind a “bog body” found in a mythic swamp. Both have secrets — he’s a Bosnian war veteran, and she has a critical medical condition — but both are searching for redemption. As the two pursue the truth, they develop a bond.
