I know when this was first announced some posters here were disappointed. I quietly rejoiced that criterion was releasing another period film, with two of the greatest stars ever to grace the screen. That the story mirrored what they had been going through themselves just added an interesting backstory. A joy to watch them on screen under Korda"s sure direction and what a treasure trove of character actors who round out the cast.
