I hate to hear that this didn't bring in the bucks and ended up being a financial failure. It's a storybook adventure like no other.

Beyond belief and enthralling story! if u want to believe in something incredible, you must see it! The inner philosophy is there, when u watch this film, u understand many things and it makes u more happy, elevate and full. U will understand this philosophy through imperceptible and invisible things, just feel it and be thoughtful

This was one of my favorite movies as a kid, and I still freaking love it... just ridiculous, but so fun and creative and utterly gilliam.

An overlooked gem. Typically overblown Gilliam epic but worth it for certain scenes. It should be viewed at least once in one's lifetime.

Munchausen is so good, it's a guilty pleasure cruise. It may be ridiculous at times, but it's the good kind of ridiculous. Also, it has one of the best ambiguous endings ever used.

I soo want to like this movie more but so much of it annoyed me. Mostly the humor. Creatively it's still absolutely Gilliam and I'd actually like to see him remake it with a better script.

Definitely not his best, but still lots of fun and hilarity. Gotta love Terry Gilliam.
