Compassionate and devastating portrait of a woman under the influence of heroine. This film does something that is rare in Norwegian filmmaking, and that is succeeding in constructing a complex character that we follow with great interest. Also notable is the cinematography, which is very good and adds a lot to the story. The Angel displays true emotions with clarity and beautiful ugliness.
