yes, we are barbarians as long as we glamorize violence for violence's sake and are blind enough to think that institutions are abstract impersonal mechanisms that function of their own will.

Powerful, yes. But too pessimistic in my opinion. I like the idea that corrupt politicians reflect a corrupt society et al, but it's very doom and gloom and is very conspirative. It's like a 'shove it down their throats' religious video. Thought provoking and clever in tis execution all the same.
