Synopsis

After Apache chief Cochise (Jeff Chandler) and U.S. cavalry officer Maj. Jim Colton (John Lund) broker a peace in New Mexico, corrupt federal agent Neil Baylor (Bruce Cowling) orchestrates an Indian-removal plan that brings catastrophe to both sides. As malcontent Geronimo (Jay Silverheels) subverts Cochise, Colton faces unyielding officers, with trouble reaching a boil in a showdown at Apache Pass. Jack Elam plays a treacherous scout.
