I'm from New Orleans--this is one film that did remain true to the 'Yat dialect (from saying, "Hey! Where y'at?"), the fairly spot on portrayal of Louisiana politics, the views of the City. You could smell the air. What wasn't spot on was the fact she's a district attorney in New Orleans, and not on the take. Plus, she lives in the Baroness Pontalba apartments on Decatur in the Quarter...no way, even on the take.
