Synopsis

Based on a script by Ulla Isaksson (The Virgin Spring), this rarely seen Swedish television production reunited director Ingmar Bergman with actor Harriet Andersson for their final screen collaboration. Andersson plays a middle-aged teacher whose marriage with her husband (Per Myrberg) becomes a desperate struggle. The first of his works to be made using video technology, this drama has never had distribution of any kind in the US.
