Director Marc Levin follows Marshall Chess as he remembers his father’s contribution to Blues history as the co-founder of Chess Records, his own production of the controversial album Electric Mud and as he organizes a re-union of the musicians that made Electric Mud to record new versions of Muddy Waters’ blues-standard Mannish Boy with contributions by hip hop artists like Chuck D of Public Enemy, Common & Kyle Jason. —wikipedia
Marc Levin, shame on you for not doing your homeworrk!! Eric Olson hit the nail on the head.
Marshall, who never paid one mind to any of those blues singers the entire time I was embarrassingly married to him but now all of a sudden when they put him in the NEWS he's all gushy gushy over them. Just being the fake he is. GIve this guy a drop of attention and he'd do anything!! He really does need a manager. He's so fake.
Marshall Chess so foolishly, arrogantly and thoughtlessly states that "the blues" is in his DNA. I think not giving one thought to his big blunder: "Electric Mud". This guy shows his feet of clay on a consistent basis. Amazing.............
