Some of the people who had to move to the neighbourhood of Mardinkapı in Diyarbakır because of the forced evacuations of their villages start working at the Mardinkapı cemetery to earn a living. The film chronicles a day in the lives of these people, who had to migrate to the city from their villages and work at a cemetery, creating new lives out of death. Attending the film conservatory at the Cegerxwin Culture Center since 2009, director M. Salih Çelik, and co-director Sevgi Akdaş are trying to create awareness for the stories and working conditions of people who work at a cemetery. –Istanbul Film Festival
