lmao yes Grandpa Redford! Console and steer us facebookin Generation Y-ers in the right direction, please! Heh... I kid. Hey, to be honest, Im happy to take a little advice from Robert effing Redford. And there actually was a clash of generations theme in this movie that I found interesting and fun. Also a lot here that I could complain about. Overall, worth a watch for sure. LaBeouf channeling Hoffman was great.

Clearly not as good as it could be (the source material isn't the strongest either) but it is refreshing to watch some old fashioned filmmaking that still stands for something. That's more than one can say about the majority of films out there.

The best thing about this movie is Shia LaBeouf's character's wardrobe and glasses. The running and chasing plot is laughable. Wasting too many talents in one film.

Continuo a pensare che il Redford migliore sia l'inventore del Sundance, poi c'è il Redford attore, capace di diventare un'icona grazie alle sue scelte negli anni interessanti e solo molto lontano c'è il R regista. Non un brutto film ma molti personaggi, tra cui quello di Julie Christie, rimangono un pò difficili da capire. Sano intrattenimento senza picchi né sbavature. Vedibile e nulla più

I cannot wait for this movie, and i just hope it is as great as the novel, and what a formidable cast, and, finally, Robert Redford and Julie Christie co-starring, what a dream! I really do have high hopes!!!
