Well put by Josh. As for this “revolution” being the only thing that can save us, it’s called stop spending money. These corporations rely on our functionality for their functionality, not the other way around. In a consumer based economy, we might get shit on, but we always have the power to get the last laugh. If people don’t wake up and realize how easy it is to change the world for the better, then they deserve to live in a shitty one.

A good way to get thoughts and conversations going about the legal construct of corporate personhood. I loved it a lot for a while and still greatly appreciate it now, but take issue with some of the tone and implied conclusions of the film. Still highly recommended to just about anyone, especially those who don’t know much about the history of the business corporation as a legal entity that has enjoyed human rights since 1886.
