It’s 1975, and the first Russian cosmonaut on the Moon is unable to make his way back— finally declared missing in space. But this tragedy takes on a new and eerie meaning when, in the midst of grief, a series of ghostly radio broadcasts begin to pierce the ether, in which the lost traveler claims not only to have come back to Earth, but to have found it completely empty: not a living soul remains.
And so begins the unweaving of realities: gradually, the Cosmonaut’s hallucinatory presence and his disembodied voice disrupts and then begins to destroy the world of his loved ones…
