Ying Zheng (Wen Jiang), king of the Qin territory, sets out to unite China under a single ruler in this epic about the first dynasty’s formation. But Zheng’s personal life interferes with his plans to govern China when he seeks help from an old friend (You Ge). Raised side by side with Zheng, Gao Jianli agrees to compose a national anthem for a united China while concealing another agenda. Qing Xu stars as Zheng’s daughter, Princess Yueyang.
