Tom and Nina have been divorced for seven years and they’ve never been in touch since. However, one evening, while Tom dines in a restaurant with Ariane, his fiancée, discussing their future marriage, Nina reappears, exhausted, broke, seven-and-a-half-months pregnant and dumped by the father of her future child. She has nowhere to go, and Tom is obliged to put her up.
