In the summer of 2004, folk-rockers Vetiver joined Devendra Banhart and Joanna Newsom on a ragtag tour across the US. Vetiver guitarist Kevin Barker Filmed before the breakout indie success of Banhart and Newsom’s brand of ‘freak folk’ – before the tiny clubs and busted van were replaced with thousand-strong crowds and tour buses – this is an exploration of touring from the inside; a look at that nostalgic time spent on the brink, before success carries friends away from each other.
