Inspired by the 1980 siege of the Iranian embassy in London, this exciting actioner stars Lewis Collins as SAS officer Peter Skellen, who infiltrates a terrorist organization intent on using hostages in the American embassy to further its rhetoric. Skellen, who romances one of the extremists, Frankie (Judy Davis), uses his quick wits and even faster fists to tackle the radicals when they demand that a nuclear bomb be dropped on a submarine base.
Originally from the steel town of Scunthorpe Ian followed the norm and decided to become an actor.. Before moving to London at the age of 19 to study at drama school Ian was one of the youngest actors to be accepted at the National Youth Theatre at the grand old age of 15. Since leaving drama school Ian has already had a diverse career in the arts from appearing in the the well known television series Heartbeat, playing leading men on the West End stage opposite such actors as Stephen Fry to producing and starring in the new British feature film Kickoff.
In 2009 Ian co-created his production company Achilles Entertainments and has already produced a sellout production of KickOff at the Riverside Studios London. —iansharp.info
