Hugh Wilson (born August 21, 1943) is an American director, writer and actor. He is best known as the creator and executive producer of the TV series WKRP in Cincinnati and Frank’s Place.
Hugh is a distinguished alumnus from the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He is currently a guest professor of Media Studies at the University of Virginia.

I appreciate the message they were going for (even if it was incredibly heavy-handed), but it's no wonder I didn't enjoy a movie about women that's written, produced, and directed by men. In a very obvious way. None of it was funny and all of the women were written as hysterical, jealous, hateful, and conniving. It's harmful and I don't want to see that about myself.
