I loved this film. Truly minimal and remind me of BUBBLE which i also loved.
Not to knock Soderbergh who is a fine director but a small note in his bio is wrong - Louis Malle was the youngest ever winner of the Palme d'Or in 1956 at the age of 24 (shared with Jacques-Yves Cousteau). As an interesting aside - I believe Kurosawa was the eldest at 71 (in 1980 for Kagemusha) beating Imamura by only 1 year (when Imamura won in 1997 for Unagi).
I wish there was more of the guy playing the drum kit with his bare hands. He was awesome. It's not exactly the kind of film in which you expect a little scene after the end credits, but it does. The discussions about the election and the economy strangely makes the film feel dated.
Incredibly pretty to look at (this might be the most well shot film Soderbergh has made) and fairly interesting. I think it's the best of his independent, "experimental" films.
