Frankly I think this trilogy by Francis Ford Coppola is a masterpiece of modern cinema. Your ability to involve the viewer in the story of a Mafia family is amazing. When I saw the first movie, I put just a phrase of Balzac who said that behind every great fortune there is always a crime. It is true by the Corleone family realized that there ways to build empires, not always through hard work. But also realize that people who engage in this alternate reality, are also people with feelings and suffering and may die. This is well demonstrated in the three films. Coppola created an argument that sought above all to create some kind of emotion between the viewer and the characters of the film. In my opinion he did it very well.
