Synopsis
In the days following the World Trade Center tragedy in the fall of 2001, a journalist (Sigourney Weaver) agrees to help a New York Fire Department captain (Anthony LaPaglia) write eulogies for eight of the firemen he lost in the twin towers. As the film progresses and they discuss the lives of each of the men, we learn more about their profession, the emotions resulting from 9/11 and the meaning of heroism. Based on the play by Anne Nelson.
