North of Paris. In order to avenge the murder of one of their own by a group of ruthless gangsters, four corrupt cops go on a rampage in a condemned building serving as the mobster’s hideout. Now trapped, the officers are about to be executed when the unimaginable occurs: hordes of bloodthirsty, cannibalistic creatures invade the building, savagely attacking everyone. Unexpected alliances are made when their lives are threatened by the unthinkable. —Transilvania International Film Festival
Full of stupid characters and idiotic situations. Ok direction gives this thing it's second star.
The sense of dispair in the movie is good. The scenario is full of gaps, and the behaviour of the characters is not consistent. I liked the visual part of the film, it does not have so many effects, so it makes the film more realistic.
If you like living dead movies, you won't be disappointed by this one that stands up, regarding the form, to the Spanish Rec, the British 28 Days Later or any Romero zombie flick. Now, if you're looking for some flesh around the bone, stay with Danny Boyle and George Romero. Recommended.
i thought this was fun in a super trashy way, but that's probably because i'll watch anything with zombies. if you've been tuning in to "the walking dead" week after week hoping all the boring characters will eventually kill or eat one another, this movie kinda fulfills that fantasy, and leaves out all the idiotic dialogue between rick and lori along the way. happy halloween.
