This wasn't even in my Time Out Film Guide. What? They have, like, Revenge of the Nerds 5! And this is only the greatest movie of all time* or something. *I exaggerate. But holy fuck.
This is a film that needs to be watched 2 or 3 times in order to understand what the hell happened.
Pure artistry of film-making ... I wish there's a "love" button available for this movie.
The Schulz novel is probably one of the best 5 books I've read so far and probably the best auto/biography ever written. His work is the closest we'll get that aproaches(and at times surpasses Kafka. Naturally this film was a dissapointment. The evens in the book didn't make sense but in some strange way theyhad an order while in the film they seem separed. But the first 5 minutes are as good as filmmaking gets.
