You'd think that a Hong Kong action movie starring Yuen Biao, Maggie Cheung, and Yuen Wah would be a thing of beauty, but sadly this film only earns a passing grade. While there are a few moments of genuinely jaw-dropping choreography and stuntwork, most of the film's runtime is eaten up by 'fish out of water' slapstick as Yuen Biao's time displaced warrior becomes acquainted with modern wonders like television.
