Honestly, this movie was pretty bad. It’s just middling, unfunny stuff from people who should know better. The tons of unexpected cameos lighten things every once in a while, but overall, the film collapses under its weak direction. The concept is not exploited to the extent it really should have been and the movie abandons all possible interesting directions in favor of a rather boring romance.

I really wanted to like this movie, for I’m a Gervais fan, but it’s just not entertaining. An interesting concept executed badly.
