Rémy Placet, a low-level office worker, invites his nine colleagues to a party at the large and luxurious country house he has acquired following the death of his mother. Over the course of the evening, alcohol loosens tongues, and people let their masks drop: all these employees with their petty intrigues, backbiting and pathetic obsessions, gradually let their hair down. When the party is over, and everyone is back in the office, back to routine, making out nothing has happened. –Locarno Film Festival
