Costanza Quatriglio

Born in Palermo in 1973, he graduated in Law at the University of Palermo in 1997. In 1999 she got a diploma at the National Film School in Rome in directing class. Since 2000 she has directed several social documentaries. Her first documentary Ecosaimale?, shot among children in an old neighborhood of historical Palermo, won several awards. Her first feature film The Island, produced by Dream Film and RAI TV network, was successfully shown in Cannes 2003 in the Director’s Fortnight section. —nicefestival.org
