While at a writers’ conference on a Mediterranean island, best-selling author David Norton (Timothy Hutton) is devastated by the suicide of his fiancée (Georgia Mackenzie). As David struggles to cope with the tragedy, others around him also begin committing suicide. Is this reality, or is this always-in-control writer living his next novel?
