The Last Best Sunday

Teenager Lolly Ann (Angela Bettis) is enjoying a rare weekend of freedom from her repressive parents when a young Mexican dishwasher (Douglas Spain) breaks into her home. Turns out, he’s trying to evade the sheriff, who’s after him for taking revenge on thugs who beat him up in a racially motivated incident. The two kids from different worlds form a bond while trying to protect one another in this film from former “Happy Days” actor Don Most.
