An extremely dry adaptation of FitzGerald's unfinished novel . It never catches life and with a dead central performance by Ingrid Boulting iit becomes despite an A list cast, totally missable. Sad.

Just removed from favorites. I'm leaving four stars for pleasing personal reasons, despite knowing that it only deserves three. And I'm sure in another year or two it'll be rightly brought down to those three.
