After a catastrophe in her personal life, a forty year old woman is trying to find her own place in life, not to give in to the pressure of unfavourable circumstances. It’s a period in her life that could be qualified as life on the verge of a breakdown. Her life is like a mirror of post-Soviet society. For most people in Lithuania historical events (restored independence) brought crisis in their personal lives. External freedom does not necessarily bring inner freedom. —Lithuanian Film Center
