The Lone Wolf

A drama for children involving a young Yugoslavian boy and a legendary dog. Ranko, a shepherd boy befriends Hund ‘the devil dog’. Angered by the continual loss of their sheep, the villagers mount a wolf hunt. In an attempt to save his friend, Ranko is shot. Afterwards the dog comes to visit him and the villagers are surprised at his docile and gentle air. —BFI
