The Missing Corpse

Character actor J. Edward Bromberg gets a rare star turn in this comic whodunit about a corpse that refuses to stay put — and the efforts of hapless newspaper tycoon Henry Kruger (Bromberg) to avoid a murder rap. After tabloid competitor Andy McDonald publishes nasty stories about Kruger’s daughter, he threatens McDonald with bodily harm. But when someone else bumps him off and dumps the body in Kruger’s car, he’s determined to hide the corpse.
