The Paranoids

Luciano Gauna works in young kids birthday parties while eternally writing his first feature´s screenplay. He lives at his friend’s Manuel’s apartment in Buenos Aires, who comes back from Spain to repeat his successful TV show, The Paranoids, locally. With Manuel comes Sofia, the girlfriend he found in Europe. Manuel is for Luciano a very precise reflection of everything he is not, aggravated by his overwhelming personality and by Luciano’s fearful temperament. Manuel’s attempts to help in Luciano’s career and with his relationship with women only expand the differences.
When Manuel leaves the country and Sofia stays at Luciano’s apartment, the attraction is inevitable, as she is attracted by the same qualities Manuel rejects as weaknesses.

At Manuel’s return to Buenos Aires, everything has changed. Luciano has also changed, but only at the last moment decides to act and come across some of the fears he has been cultivating his whole life. –Official Synopsis
